You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password information, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and password.  This website and dbaTHIS LLC reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content or cancel orders. By placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing www.dbaTHIS.com with accurate, truthful information and that you have the authority to place the order. By placing an order in person, by telephone or electronically, you agree to the terms and conditions of sale stated herein. SHIPPING
Our goal is to deliver your purchase as quickly as possible. All orders are shipped on business days (Monday through Friday) excluding holidays.  All orders have a processing time of 1-3 business days if the merchandise is in stock. Overnight delivery is available for orders placed on business days before 12pm and confirmed via telephone. Backordered items will be shipped to you as soon as they become available, therefore items ordered together may not always be shipped together. The exact shipping cost for your order will be added and displayed at checkout. All orders with different ‘Billing’ and ‘Ship to’ addresses require fax with signature and credit card number authorizing the transaction. International orders with different ‘Billing’ and ‘Ship To’ addresses cannot be accepted at this time.

All goods shipped FOB NYC. All shipments are insured and included in shipping charges. Customer is sole owner of goods once it leaves our premises and is in possession of the carrier. Shipments sent outside the USA and its territories may incur an import duty, excise duty, VAT or other charges from the government of the destination country. Packages typically won’t be delivered until all fees are paid. To find the most up-to-date duty and excise charges, check the web for your country’s customs agency. Persons receiving the shipment are legally obliged to pay the duty and VAT. THIS Co. does not collect any duty or tax on international shipments and cannot be responsible for any of these charges.


TRACKING YOUR ORDER
After placing your order you receive an order number. Once goods are shipped you receive email confirmation with a tracking number. 


WHOLESALE ORDERS

At time of order please provide complete contact details including resale number. Terms are 50% deposit with balance due prior to shipping goods. No exceptions. Please kindly note that your order instigates with deposit receipt, and, we are able to ship goods only after complete payment clears. There will be no returns or exchange of wholesale orders. If you are not sure, please sample prior to placing order. We ship via UPS. If another carrier is desired or you have company account please provide details.

All textiles can be FLAME RETARDANT treated to meet specific building codes and specifications. Please send email inquiry.


PAYMENT
We accept most all forms of payment including PayPal, Money Orders, Personal Checks, and Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). All order information is encrypted using industry standard SSL technology. For your security your billing name and address must match that of the credit card. Orders paid by personal check are shipped after check clears. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not follow these criteria.


RETURNS
If you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason whatsoever please let us know and we will take care of you right away. Email us at orders@dbaTHIS.com with all details regarding your purchase and requested return. Returns are accepted within 5 days of delivery receipt. We offer store credit or exchange for returns. Returns must be authorized in advance or will be returned to sender at the senders expense. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Returned items must be unused and in perfect condition. Returns need be well-packed and insured for the full price of the item and shipped with a copy of your receipt to the following address below. All sale items are final however.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
Please inspect all deliveries thoroughly upon arrival. All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier.  You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments. Call us immediately at +001.917.582.6424 and we will assist you to process your claim. UPS usually requires an inspection in the event of damage so please hold onto all packing materials, receipts, etc. THIS Co. must be informed within 5 days of delivery of all damaged goods to process claims.

FABRIC CARE
The following are general care tips for cleaning and caring for specialty textiles. As for all fine fabrics, we recommend that you clean them as little as possible. Always test clean on a small area, preferably a corner or backside of the material. When cleaning, alternate between dry-cleaning and hand-washing because dry cleaning will not retain the natural fiber oils as will hand-washing. Alternatively, hand-washing may diminish a small percentage of the structural character of the fabric.

Drycleaning*: always request professional dry-clean using a short cleaning cycle and low power solvents (Carbon Dioxide/CO2,  Silicon based/GreenEarth,  Petroleum based/siloxane/D5, or Hydrocarbon based/EcoSolve, DF2000). Do not clean fine fabrics with the standard ‘highpower’ solvents such as perc (percholorethylene). 

Do not clean in a washing machine because it will harm the construction and malign the color. Do not iron items which are dirty or stained. Heat from the iron will set stains.  

When washing by hand always use cold water and a mild natural soap or detergent. We prefer Murphy’s vegetable oil soap with a little lemon or lime juice. For whites and brights add a spoonful or two of hydrogen peroxide. For all washing a few drops of essential oils will help to cleanse the fabric.

Do not leave the fabric in water for a long time.

For drying, do not rub or wring the fabric. Roll in a towel to remove excess water. Spread the textile out on a flat absorptive surface such as a towel in the shade. Never hang when wet as the fibers will stretch.

For long term storage, natural textiles should be sealed against light, air and insects. Storing with small amounts of Lavender, Cloves, Rosemary, and/or Garlic is recommended. 


BANANA FIBER FABRIC
Wash in cold water or professionally dryclean with low power solvent. Professional press with medium-high heat.
 
INDIGO FABRICS
Professional dryclean with low power solvent. Do not wash

KHADI FABRIC
The more you use Khadi fabric, the softer it becomes. Allow for 5% shrinkage with the first wash.
 
LEATHER
As with all leather products we suggest using a soft cloth to wipe dry if exposed to water. If scratched rub with leather cream or consult a cobbler.
 
PINEAPPLE FIBER FABRIC
Wash in cold water or professionally dryclean with low power solvent. Professional press with medium-high heat.
 
PEACOCK FEATHER FABRIC
Normal, regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment may be used to remove dust deposits. Professional dryclean low power solvent, spot clean with a damp cloth, dry press. Do not wash. Clean with caution.
 
SELVEDGE SILK
Selvedge Silks are vintage sari’s that have been both dry-cleaned and washed many times. They are sturdy enough to withstand additional repeated cleanings. Clean with caution however.  
 
WOOLENS
Refresh wool quickly by hanging them in a steamy bathroom. Moisture from the steam will remove wrinkles. If wool gets wet, dry the garment at room temperature away from heat. Dry clean once a season (or when stained), and especially before storing. Always steam when pressing wool. When possible, press on the reverse side of the fabric. When necessary to press on the right side, use a press cloth to avoid a shine. Lower and lift the iron, don't slide it back and forth. Prevent imprinting inside detail by placing a piece of brown paper or tissue paper under folds, seams or dartst
